Chi Lambda

Chi Lambda Chapter was chartered on December 31, 1925. There were eight charter members. One of the most notable members was Brother Dr. Charles H. Wesley, President of Wilberforce University, and the first President of Central State University. He wrote “The History of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity,” as well as histories for many other lodges and professional organizations.

Chi Lambda was recognized as 2003 District of Ohio and Midwestern Region Alumni Chapter of the Year, and was the 2021 Charles H. Wesley Award recipient with Delta Xi and Xi Chapters. This Award was won at the District of Ohio Conferences from 2017 through 2021.

The chapter is indeed proud of the Fraternity’s commitment to promoting the betterment of the community through educational achievements, political involvement social awareness and professional development.
