Iota Chi Lambda

Iota Chi Lambda was chartered on February 20, 1971 as the 522nd House of Alpha by eight dedicated Brothers of the fraternity. Since its inception, the Chapter has been a steadfast pillar of leadership, brotherhood, and community service in the Great Lakes Bay Region of Michigan, encompassing Saginaw, Midland, and Bay City. For over half a century, the Chapter has been dedicated to making a positive impact in the community.

The Chapter is renowned for hosting the fraternity’s national programs. These initiatives foster civic responsibility, and social justice. The chapter remains committed to honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by organizing an annual Unity Celebration. This event brings together community leaders, residents, and university officials to celebrate this day.

The chapter hosts the annual Brother Carl C. Poston Scholarship Golf Tournament. This signature event that raises funds to support the chapter’s scholarship initiatives.
