Theta Xi

The 388th House of Alpha was chartered on January 6, 1973, on the campus of Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. Theta Xi brothers have been very active members of Alpha Phi Alpha and have hosted several District Conventions. Several members have attained the distinction of Indiana Brother of the Year, including Brothers E. Maurice Bransford, Dieter Owens, and Roderick Q. Blount, Jr. Bro. James Scott has served as the Assistant District Director and the Executive Director of Indiana. Bro. Roderick Q. Blount, Jr., 2008 Distinguished Collegian Award recipient, has served as the Midwest Regional Secretary under two administrations: Bro. Mark S. Tillman and Bro. Elgie R. Sims, Jr.
