Nu Nu

On May 16, 1978 Nu Nu Chapter was chartered by Michael Chamberlain, Milton Cooley, Aubrey Jackson, Gene Murphy, Bobby Pleasant, Alphonso Taylor, Julian Cooley, Tony Husky, Kenneth Lawson, Tony Murphy, William Prichard, Enrique Thurman, and Kutrell Williams, with Dr. Clyde Perry-Advisor at Marshall University located in Huntington, West Virginia. In the early years, the chapter committed themselves to the progress of the African American experience on campus by sponsoring various programs such as Each One, Teach One tutoring service. This program was designed by the chapter in association with The Academic Affairs Program in order to try and increase the awareness of male minority students on the importance of scholarship.

In the fall of 1996, Nu Nu established the Bro. Clyde Perry Academic Scholarship, which was established in order to recognize a deserving student who demonstrated academic and leadership qualities at Marshall. Through their work, it is evident that the Nu Nu Brothers live up to the aims of the fraternity: Manly Deeds, Scholarship and Love for all Mankind.
