Epsilon Theta

Bowling Green State University

About the Chapter

The story of Epsilon Theta at Bowling Green State University is one of relentless ambition and a commitment to the “House of Alpha.” Eight men established this beloved chapter on May 15, 1959. Like the national organization, and many chapters before it, Epsilon Theta was the first historically Black Greek-letter organization established on campus. Since their chartering, Epsilon Theta has served as a forge for leadership, where the fraternity’s national pillars are transformed into local action through sheer hard work.

This legacy of excellence is reflected in brothers’ consistent rise to the highest levels of leadership. Epsilon Theta has served as a training ground for influential campus and fraternal leaders, producing Regional AVPs, District Directors, and Assistant District Directors. The presence of brothers in these pivotal roles demonstrates the chapter’s ability to cultivate visionaries who lead with integrity and discipline, a testament to the high standards of Alpha Phi Alpha.
