Sigma Iota was rechartered March 20, 2001 at the University of Toronto in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The Charter Members were Phillip Harrison August, Nana Oben Brown, and Ike William Okafor. Ikem Peter Opara was initiated through Sigma Iota, September 15, 2001. The chapter became dormant in 2002 and was de-chartered in 2010.
